I'm Marvin Baynham
I am running for Hernando County Commissioner District 3. I believe in the power of community and the importance of public service. For the past 9 years, I have worked passionately to serve the community and support the well being for all residents. I am running for office because I believe our community needs a fresh perspective from someone who is not entrenched in politics as a career. I know that it is a privilege to be elected to serve, and I am committed to fighting for the needs of Hernando County. I am not interested in serving the interests of powerful groups or individuals. I believe in transparency and open communication, and I am always available to listen to the people I serve.

About Marvin
Marvin Baynham is a Christian, husband, father, firefighter, and conservative who lives in Royal Highlands.
Marvin is a Florida native, that was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelors of Science in Child and Family Development.
Upon graduation Marvin served in non profit CDC of Tampa from 2015 to 2017. In 2017 he began a career as a firefighter where he still currently serves.
